Last week I did something that I don't often do... I wrote an entirely negative product review. And to make it worse it was a product from my current favourite beauty brands, Glossier! You can find out what the product was and read my review here.
So today I thought I'd redeem myself to Glossier, I'm joking of course, and feature four of their most popular products as voted by their customers! I also thought it would be nice to hold a giveaway of either a Glossier Phase 1 Set or a Phase 2 Set - you get to decide! Find the giveaway entry section to the bottom of this blog post!
Receive 10% off your first Glossier order here!
I haven't done a giveaway in a little while so thought I would hold one with a 1-day giveaway!
I love blush palettes likes this, they give you so many options and have a lovely range of shades.
If you would like to enter please follow the rules in the form carefully. There are 3 different ways of entering, meaning up to 3 chances of winning the blush palette. UK only please.
The giveaway will close - Wednesday 31st October at 12pm and I will announce and contact the winner the following day.

A little giveaway and review today of the most talked about Lidl Suddenly Madame Glamour that indeed smells very similar to the pricey Chanel Coco Mademoiselle perfume!
Now in the past I have been a huge fan of Coco Mademoiselle but at £65 for 50ml it isn't something that I bought myself often and eventually I decided it was just too expensive, however much I adored it. But now there is Suddenly Madame Glamour! Only £3.99 for 50ml and smelling so similar to Coco Mademoiselle that some people actually can't tell a difference!
Coco Mademoiselle is a quite a sensual femimine perfume that is also quite heady that does last very well on the skin. Where are the Lidl £3.99 version does have the instant same notes but then mellows down to being a lighter version of Coco Mademoiselle and of course doesn't last that long on the skin. But for only £3.99 you can be spray happy of course!
But there is no getting around that this super cheap perfume does smell so similar and may be tempting people to buy this over the Chanel £65 perfume.
As Lidl supermarkets are selling out so fast of this perfume and ofcourse some people cannot get to Lidl I thought I would do a giveaway!
All you have to do is leave your name and email address in the Rafflecopter form below.

So if you didn't know already Cetaphil is now in Boots stores! It has already kind of been available in the UK but it was pretty hard to find. So this is great news if you want to try the already cult cleanser and moisturising lotions.
Now if I'm honest I didn't really know much about Cetaphil or why there was such a hype surrounding the brand... but after trying out the products for a while I think I'm getting why people really do like a bit of Cetaphil. Yes, the ingredients aren't the best... not natural in any shape or form but at least there aren't that many ingredients in the products.
Cetaphil Moisturising Lotion 250ml - £9.18 (Boots - here)
This product is easily my favourite out of the three! I have been applying this literally neck to toe after every shower I take (in prep for going on holiday) and the improvement in my skin is just great. My skin now is literally so soft and just all round good! But what I like most about the lotion is how easy it goes on as you can literally slap this on all over and within a few minutes it's totally soaked in - my kind of moisturiser! Really really super good stuff that has impressed me.
Cetaphil Moisturising Cream 100g - £10.20 (Boots - here)
Now I'm not going to lie... I don't really think this is worth the money - yes, it's a good product but seeing as you actually get a lot less product you would expect it to be cheaper, not more expensive! However if you are looking for a really good quality face cream/or something that will calm certain patches of skin then this is the one for you. This really does hydrate the skin amazing well and it perfect for anyone with skin conditions such are eczema and psoriasis and it is so simple and very gentle.
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser 250ml - £9.18 (Boots - here)
Now this is the true Cetaphil cult product that everyone raves about (you just need to look it up on You Tube to see how popular it is) and I must say I can see why it works so well for so many people however sadly I am a poor judge of it as I thankfully have really clear skin now (this I put down to drinking Cranberry cordial religiously) and don't need a cleanser to improve spots/acne. But this really has given some people great results as it just doesn't irritate the skin but just thoroughly cleanses it, which is 100% what you want!
I'm now a huge believer in using a very mild but effective cleanser and only using spot treatments containing salicylic acid on the areas needed. I really think a lot of people can really make problems worse by using harsh products on their skin. But anyways... ramble aside - this is good stuff for anyone with any skin type really, especially ones that are prone to breakouts or acne.
So I have FIVE Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleansers to give away!

Firstly thanks to all that entered the giveaway - it was really nice to be able to open it up internationally and hopefully I can do that more in the future!
Here are the two winners that will both receive the NYC Chroma Face Glows in Sunstone and Moonstone...
Laura - Beautyjunkieuk
UK Winner
Hulda
International Winner
No need to e-mail me as I will e-mail you both so you can send me your address' so that I can get the products sent off to you asap!
As for the next giveaway it will be a few products from a fairly new brand that I have been loving. So make sure to check back on Monday for that!

So today I thought I would bring you what I think is a really nice giveaway, as I love this product and it's quite rare as it's been annoyingly discontinued!
As you can see I have two sets to giveaway to two winners - one in the UK and one International so it's fair!
Here is my own NYC Chroma Glow in Moonstone so you can have a closer look at just how pretty it is...
Apparently Moonstone is a dupe for MAC's MSF in Petticoat and Sunstone is a dupe for MAC MSF So Ceylon! I can say if they are but from looking at swatches on the internet they both do seem quite similar. Eiter way these are really pretty and just nice to have!

Another week and another winner! I'm actually really enjoying doing lots of little giveaways at the moment - I feel it's nice to give something back!
The winner of the amazing smelling bath creme and some lovely chocolates is...
Joanna (comment 14)
As for this week's giveaway there will actually be TWO winners and this time it will be international as well!
Can you guess what the giveaway will be?
Make sure to check back on Wednesday to find out what the giveaway is and all that jazz!

Who knew it was National Chocolate Week? Well not me, until yesterday... so in aid of it and all things chocolatey I thought I would write a post on some wonderful products that smell and look like chocolate.
I also advise that whilst read this you eat chocolate to get the full benefits of the post!
No7 Stay Perfect Eye Mousse in Fudge (£9.00 - Boots here)
Also this will last you for years (I've had my tube for at least 1 1/2 years) - but OF COURSE common sense is also needed, if the formula of anything changes in anyway then the bin is probably the best place for it!
Jelly Belly Chocolate Pudding Body Cream (£6.99 part of set - here)
I don't love this but the whole set of products by Jelly Belly are nice, especially their candle range! This reminds me of Palmer Cocoa butter... but just not as nice, sadly. Totally unrelated but this Jelly Belly Toasted Mashmallow candle from Tesco is my current lust! Trust me, this smells AMAZING!

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker XLExtreme Plump Lip Gloss (£10.00 - Boots here)
Another product that smells of chocolate! This is great if you want to really plump up your lips on a night out - however be warned this does have quite a strong tingling effect! But it is the best high street lip plumper so if you don't mind the mad tingling then this is the one to go for!

Maybelline Forever Strong Pro in Rosy Sand (£4.09 - Boots here)
This has a slightly hint of dusky mauve in it but on the nails it just reminds me of chocolate milkshake. It's not too light or too dark - just perfect and it's such a nice formula for a nail polish. One of my favourite high street ones actually. Lovely and yummy!

Bourjois Delice de Pourdre Bronzing Powder 51 (£6.99 from Boots here)
This is my favourite bronzer without a doubt! I just love everything about this - the smell of cocoa in the bronzer, the shade, the packaging, how it's looks like chocolate and also how long this lasts for and also how I use the bronzer everyday and I still have a lot left! Also I kind of appreciate how it does look like chocolate but it doesn't look gimmicky or cheap - something I don't think a lot of brands could do! If you STILL haven't tried this and do like using bronzer, then treat yourself to it or even put it on your Christmas list!

Bourjois Delice de Pourdre Highlighting Powder (£6.99 free p&p from Amazon here)
When I first purchased this I did have high hopes and did feel disappointed when I tried it out. However I soon realized that it was unfair to compare it to the bronzing powder as of course it's not going to give as visible results because it's a highlighter and not a bronzer! So after that I did start enjoying it as intended as a highlighter. It is quite a subtle product as it does just give subtle highlight to the high points of the face but this is why I like it. It's not powdery or harsh... just a realistic highlighter! Really nice.

What's up for grabs?
One large 500ml Anatomicals Dairy Milk Bliss LE Chocolate Truffle Bath Creme (which smells AMAZING!). I does look a little bit empty at the top but this is due to it leaking during delivery!
AND... some mystery chocolates. I will ask the winner which chocolates they prefer - white, milk, dark, diabetic etc etc.

So this was going to be a giveaway for reaching an amazing 1 million page views recently but I actually got there quicker than expected and so now I'm at 1,700,000 page views and I can't really say that is a milestone, though it is an amazing achievement for me personally!
Which led me to create a thank you giveaway instead as without everyone that reads my blog it really would be nothing! You all really do encourage me to write the blog posts I do and it still makes me smile more than ever when I see a comment pop up on a post or I receive an e-mail or tweet for someone about my blog. It really is a lovely feeling!
So last week I went shopping with the idea of buying some makeup for this giveaway but nothing really grabbed me as I know I will be doing a few make-up giveaway in the run up to Christmas. However I had a little light bulb moment of buying a digital camera just as I was about to stop looking.
My main enjoyment of creating blog posts is taking the photos and I just love photography in general. So this camera could be for someone that is thinking of starting blogging, or someone that is only using a really basic camera, or even as a camera just to throw in your bag to take photos while your out and about. But don't worry if you already have a camera or don't have a blog then you could just use this as a fun camera to take on your holidays or to snap makeup stands and products while your out.
So here are the rules on how to enter the giveaway to win the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W310!
(to view the specs of the camera you can see it on Amazon or this video I found on YouTube).

Calculated the winner this Random Org - which selected 71
(though had to add an extra entry in at 57 due to an e-mail entry, before I entered the figure into random org).
The Winner is...
Would love if you could send me an e-mail at makeupsavvy@live.co.uk
Thank you to everyone that entered - will be holding another giveaway next week!
I think I've got to a point were I can firmly say I am obsessed with nail polish...so much so that most of the nail polishes I own have only been used once or twice!
Though I do have clear favourites that I absolutely love to death and use continuously!
For that reason I keep back ups for quite a few of them - even though I've never even used up half a bottle of any one nail polish.
So for that reason I have decided to share my favourites with you and give two of my most loved nail polish back ups away!
Revlon Nail Enamel in Nude Chic
Stargazer in 307
I love both nail polishes for completely different reasons - Nude Chic is such a perfect pinky nude that applies perfectly and only needs two coats , also it's a shade that sadly isn't available anymore so your getting abit of a rare gem!
Stargazer 307 on the other hand is just so unique and stunning that everyone seems to notice it!
How To Enter...
To enter all you need to do it leave a comment below stating that you want to be entered.
NO Email address is needed!
I will place the name of the winner at the top of this post & a new post on Saturday 19th Feb. If you do have a blogger profile with an email address visible I will find it and of course email you but if not than check back on the 19th Feb and email me at makeupsavvy@live.co.uk if you are the winner!
I ask for no email addresses to be given for your own personal security on the Internet.

- There will be one winner that will receive both nail polishes
- The winner will be chosen at random with random.org
- Both nail polishes are brand new

Good Luck Everyone

If you read Makeup Savvy I'm sure you'll know that I have *ahem* tried/owned quite afew perfumes...which range from stupidly overpriced to Supermarket own branded and also afew cheesy ones!
Basically what I'm trying to say is - I don't judge a scent by it's bottle or label. For me if it smells good thats all that matters, as I love perfume!
So when I was asked if I would do a giveaway of the three new Sugababes fragrances all worth £19.99 each (100ml). I of course wanted to sniff them first to see if they where Makeup Savvy reader friendly and ofcourse to make sure they didn't smell like room spray (which you'll be glad to know they don't!).
So first up is Touch (the silver one) - Touch starts with a blast of cranberry and lychee and the intensity of violet and rose ensure that the pulse keeps pounding. (Ofcourse there words, not mine!).
This has to be my favourite out of the three scents as it seems to combine 2 of my favourite perfumes that I've sadly run out off; Insolence by Guarlain and Rose by Paul Smith Both really lovely, strong scents but some how palma violets and damascus rose just smell amazing together. A really gorgeous scent if you love your perfumes strong and sweet!
Next up is the sweet looking pink one, Tease - Sexy and sultry, Tease is full of passionate tempo, an intoxicating cocktail of zesty lemonade and juicy pear with luscious jasmine and seductive magnolia.
I sadly didn't get to test this in the shop but the mention of zesty lemonade make me think of Tommy Hilfiger's True Star (which I own)...I may be totally wrong though! It does sounds lovely.
Last but not least is the slightly kinky looking Tempt (please tell me I'm not the only one that thinks this!) - Tempt is a fragrance in tune with the Sugababes vibe - a vigorous fruity floral bursting with Zesty Iced Tea and the astounding scent of purple orchid. The rose and musk add texture while vanilla pod bursts through with a catchy beat.
I went and sniffed this at The Perfume Shop and would definitely say this is the most deepest one out of the three and more suited to the night time! Really love the zingy iced tea scent to this which fades down slightly whilst wearing it to reveal the vanilla notes in it. Definitely a more grown up scent.
Anyways onto the giveaway itself!
The rules are simple -
Sadly UK readers only
If you have a google connect account/a blog I'd love if you could follow me!
If you don't, don't worry...just leave a comment with your e-mail address below.
Of course if you have a blog also leave a comment below with your contact email address.
If you'd prefer a specific fragrance also mention which one in the comments (I can't guarantee you will get that one, but I shall try!)
The giveaway will end on November 25th 12pm GMT and I shall notify all winners by e-mail the next day.
Also make sure to check out the Sugababes Facebook page for more chances to win one of the fragrances and other good info!
Good Luck! xx
