ASOS Have Launched Their Own Beauty Box And You Won't Believe How Cheap It Is

Curated beauty boxes have certainly come a long way since the OG of beauty box subscriptions; Birchbox, first coming on the scene in 2010. Now much like novelty Christmas jumpers every brand seems to be doing them! Which to be honest I feel is only a good thing!

Why? Because a lot don't do them well. I'm talking inclusion of obscure beauty brands you can pick up in your own country (the frustration when you want to buy the product full size?!), beyond miniature samples and repeat brands in monthly subscription boxes (just zzz). So I really believe we need choice so that we can pick the cream of the crop!

For example the new ASOS Beauty Box... which I totally didn't see coming, until I received an email about it and bought in 2 minutes flat!

Why am I so pleased about this specific box? Well not only is this a one-off, no subscription beauty box but it ships internationally and it's an incredible £12 for 6 products, of which 4 are full-size! Kudos to ASOS here I think.

Included in the box: Luxe Small Tapered Blending Brush, Lime Crime Velvetines Mini Liquid Lipstick in Riley, Bourjois Volume Reveal Mascara, NYX Slide On Pencil in Sunrise Blue, 3ina The Eyes & Lips Makeup Remover, Rimmel Radiance Brick in Medium

All for only £12... which is pretty amazing as by my calculation the beauty box contents should cost around the £45 mark if everything was purchased individually. I mean the new Bourjois mascara retails for £9.99 alone.

My personal want for this beauty box was because of the mini Lime Crime Liquid Lipstick in shade, Riley, and simply because the entire box is a steal and so far it's not been a let down at all. Already being a fan of Luxe brushes I'm in love with the beyond soft eye blending brush, I also excited to try something from new brand, 3ina, and I'm already worn the liquid lipstick and bronzer, really enjoying them both.

As for any dud products, I'm not going to lie... the NYX eyeliner could have come in a more universally friendly shade than blue, especially as NYX have so a wide range of stunning yet wearable eyeliner colours. However other than that the beauty box is pretty spot on!

Is this the start of something new for ASOS or just a one-off? Who knows. But it is likely to sell out, so if you fancy treating yourself to a beauty box that works out at only £2 per product I would do ASAP!

Fee xo.
