6 Places to Shop for Cheap but Chic Stationery

Today I fancied changing it up a bit and talking cheap stationery supplies!

I may keep it quiet with all my makeup talk but I'm a total stationery addict. Actually, I take that back... I'm just a pretty notebook hoarder. I literally can't help myself! So today I thought I'd share my favourite places to shop for cheap but stylish stationery.

Apologies in advance if this makes your bank balance a little lighter!

Sainsbury's (in-store)
First on my list has got to be Sainsbury's. Probably the most unlikely of place for stylish stationery but they are just pulling it out of the bag right now with so many amazing different ranges. Expect some gorgeous high-quality weekly planners for only £3.50 along with marble themed files and notepads. Along with my peach toned weekly planner I love the above hardback A4 copper notebook I picked up for around £3-4. I don't do my food shopping in Sainsbury's but now regularly pop in just to check out their stationery and cards section.

Typo UK
Typo is literally one of my favourite online stores for all things homeware and stationery! Incredibly good value for money along with being really unique... I mean rose gold Eiffel Tower scissors?! I've had many a notebook from Typo in the past year and loved them all and recently had a little splurge on the new Type x Disney collab and just can't get enough of it! I will be sharing everything I got very soon but for now you can find the entire Disney Typo collection here. Side note - I will be using the Typo Disney blank cards as prints and framing them. Not really stationery but I had to include them! Also all new customers that sign up to the newsletter receive a 20% off code!

Homesense (in-store)
Aside from being amazing for candles and faux flowers, Homesense is the place to shop if you are looking for beautiful notebooks and diaries. Endless choice and often with branded stationery from the likes of Kate Space and Kikki K - I know! What I love most about notebooks from Homesense is the quality for the low price (generally £3-5). As you can see the white hardback a4 notebook above really is such high quality. They also often have a range of stationery organisers and craft supplies. Dream shop right here!

ASOS
In the past year ASOS have really upped their game in their gift department, especially when it comes to stationery. They now offer gorgeous stationery from Oh Deer (seen above and one of my favs!), Paperchase and Ban.Do, just to name a few brands. Prices do vary but for the most past you can pick up quite a few inexpensive stationery items that really are on trend.

eBay
I couldn't not include eBay! If you read my blog you will know that I love all things eBay and that of course includes ultra cheap stationery finds. My favourite recent purchase has to be the above watercolour hexagon shaped sticky notes! I also love eBay for cheap novelty pens - cactus, cats and diamond pens all 99p. Plus acrylic organiser like the above one cost £7 here and are a great way to keep all your pretty stationery organise but on display as well. You can also find quite a few stationery buys in my previous eBay Finds posts!

Home Bargains (in-store)
Last but not least I had to include Home Bargains as it's definitely an overlook store when it comes to buying pretty stationery. If you love all things copper and Kate Spade inspired then a trip is a must, I promise you won't come out empty handed!  The above two notepads I think cost only 99p each. Most items are also around the 99p-£3.00 mark!

Other stores worth mentioning - Wilko, Hema and Primark!

Let me know which stationery items are your favourite from this little lot - I think I'm most in love with the rose gold Eiffel Tower scissors!
