Don't you just love a freebie! This one comes thanks to Maxi from The Lipstick Blog who I mention far too often (but always for good reasons).

Just a little heads up on a nice freebie with Red Magazine this month and a few others!
With Red Magazine this month you can enjoy a 15ml sample of Elemis Pro Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm which retails at £32 for 50ml, so it's quite a good freebie! You can find the magazine with the Elemis sample for the special price of £2 in Tesco stores, or £4.00 everywhere else with the sample (you can also buy it for £2 in various shops without the sample as well... slightly confusing I know).
The Pro-Radiance Illuminating Flash Balm is essentially a primer that adds radiance to the skin and creates a nice base for makeup. As it is a balm it does feel fairly thick but a little is needed and it does soak into the skin nicely. It you are looking for a radiance enhancing makeup base then this is definitely worth picking up.

Magazine freebie time with this month's Glamour Magazine which is only £2!
There is a choice of Percy & Reed Volumising No Oil Oil for fine hair, Shampoo, Conditioner or Finishing Polish.
I decided on the Volumising No Oil Oil as it sounded quite interesting and I do like my hair oils. However if you are umm-ing and ahh-ing at what to chose I would highly recommend the Finishing Polish which is a cream product with a lovely light mint scent that smooths the hair and any frizz. I actually received it with Glamour mag last year but as you only need a pea sized amount my tube is still going strong!
For only the price of the £2 magazine I really think this is a great offer as Percy & Reed are a nice quality hair brand!

I've been quiet on the magazine freebie front over the past few months because there just hasn't been any freebies... I guess sneaky magazine publishers know people like to buy magazine with or without free products over the Christmas/New Year period.
However I have spotted a nice upcoming freebie in Marie Claire magazine that I thought was worth a mention!
With the April Issue of Marie Claire UK (£3.70) on sale 28th February you receive a free Neal's Yard Bee Lovely Hand Cream 50ml worth £10.
For some reason as soon as I saw the packaging for this I thought it was a Burt's Bees product. This will be a lovely hand cream for spring and hopefully it will have a nice light honey scent to it.
If I spot any other freebies I will be sure to report on them... though expect umbrella freebies in March in preparation for the April showers!

I know I have only just posted about the free Nails Inc nail polishes with this months Glamour magazine (post here) however I just discovered what next months freebie is, which is very Christmas appropriate and exciting!
With each issue of Glamour January 2012 (out December 6) there will be a Joy Card from The Body Shop which will be loaded with a minimum of £3 but could contain £15 or even £100 to spend in-store.
You simply take your card in to a Body Shop store and get it scanned to see how much is on the card. Then you have until January 8th to spend it. Just imagine if it was a £100 voucher! But even if you do get just a £3 gift card there is actually quite a lot of low priced products at The Body Shop this Christmas. I already have my eye on Ginger Sparkle or Vanilla Bliss Lip Dome (£5) and also a Lip Butter and mini Body Butter duo in a plastic bauble (£7).
Also the three new limited edition ranges are Cranberry Joy, Vanilla Bliss and Gingerbread Sparkle - so Christmas-y
