The Ultimate Hair Mask for Seriously Dry Hair

With a monthly hair dying habit and a love of blow drying, you could say I've tried quite a few hair masks in the past 10 years! From £1 wonders that surprisingly give instant results due to a number of silicones that coat the hair giving an artificial softness to ones that break the bank and to be honest didn't work miracles.

However, a few years ago I found a mid-price hair mask that I've since been religiously re-purchasing and I'm surprisingly happy to (even though the larger tub is more than I'd ideally spend on hair care!). Not only does this hair mask give instant results but it repairs my hair, if that's possible, and the more I use it (maximum suggested use is twice a week, which I stick to) the better condition my hair becomes.

Macadamia Deep Repair Masque

The hair mask I'm talking about is Macadamia Deep Repair Masque and is just a tub of nourishing goodness for the hair in my opinion. Packed full of natural oils this thick mask really does penetrate the hair, making it look and feel a thousand times better! Ideal for anyone that's addicted to heated hair tools or that dyes their hair often. In fact, I'd even recommend this mask to anyone that has bleached their hair or done the awful de-colour stripping process that leaves the hair drier than you can ever imagine. I would say if that is you then I'd ditch the 'how to apply' and apply the mask to damp hair for a good hour or two!

As I'm just maintaining my hair condition now that is so much better than it once was and shows very little signs of damage or dryness I apply the mask in the shower 1-2 times a week and leave it on for the recommended 7 minutes before washing it off. The most important step I've come to realise is brushing the hair through with the mask on.... I don't know why but it makes the hair mask work so much better. So before heading into the shower grab your Tangle Teezer or similar and make sure not to skip the step!

Macadamia Deep Repair Hair Mask

Available to buy from:  Look Fantastic (236ml) £23.15, Feel Unique(236ml) £28.95, Look Fantastic (100ml) £10.20, Amazon (100ml) £7.05

What I also like about this hair mask and why I wanted to recommend it, is that it does come in a smaller 100ml size that actually isn't that small, making it affordable to try out and see how amazing it is! I'm now totally on the big tub bandwagon, although I wish if came in a large tube instead as balancing a tub in the shower with wet hands whilst avoiding the water spray - I pray for even a 250ml tube to come out eventually!  But hey ho, I can't complain too much as this really is the most nourishing hair mask I've come across.

Let me know if you also love this hair mask or if I've convinced you to try it - you won't be disappointed, I promise!

Fee xo.
