NOTD - W7 Watermelon & Yes Love Snow Flake

Today I thought I'd show you my spring nails with a new W7 shade!

W7 is a bit of a hit & miss brand for me and I'm never sure how to take their copy cat approach to products. However I absolutely love their budget nail polishes! The collections are always current & on trend (this specific shade is from the new summer 2014 Sorbet collection) and the formula's are just as good as more expensive brands.

W7 Watermelon is a smooth and glossy peach shade that looks chic and summery on the nails. With only 2 coats needed this is quite a thick and opaque nail polish with a wide brush that makes application smooth and easy. Though as it is quite thick over shaking the bottle can lead to little air bubbles I've found, but really that is the only flaw I can find with this nail polish!

To add something to the manicure I decided to pick out a top coat that I couldn't believe I hadn't tried out yet after buying it last year on holiday in Spain. Yes Love is a nail polish brand I don't know too much about but from what I've gathered they are a budget European brand that you can find mainly in Spain and also on eBay. This lovely top coat reminds me of crushed seashells in the bottle but on the nails it's just a lovely sprinkle of white and gold pieces that's such a nice combination.

Overall I love this manicure, W7 Watermelon is such a perfect spring/summer nail polish and I'm glad I got to use my Yes Love Snowflake top coat.

Watermelon is part of a 6 piece collection in the new Sorbet range, which can be found at various W7 stands for £2.99.

Fee xo.
