Oh Glitter nails how I love you so! Seriously I just love glitter nails, so when today came around I wanted to use every glitter nail polish I own on my nails!
I actually tried to figure out how I could use as many glitter polishes as possible... but then figured I just couldn't. So I decided to ditch all my beloved glitter nail polishes and use some 99p craft glitter instead?!
Now I haven't got a clue were I thought up this idea from but I sat down with my lovely Nails Inc Caramel nail polish and the bronze craft glitter and decided I want to do something were I poured glitter all over my nails in certain areas and then shook it off. I did think about using a clear top coat in areas and then pouring on the glitter while the polish was still wet but I knew I wouldn't be able to get any kind of detail that way.
Then I had a light bulb moment! Why not use a nail art pen (I used a black one) to apply whatever design I wanted and then pour on the glitter while it was still wet! I haven't got a clue why I decided to do the pattern I did... it was just quick and easy. After applying the glitter I tipped off excess and left the nail art to fully dry before dusting off the excess glitter with a fluffy eyeshadow brush... and voila!
