The Beauty Box Worth Treating Yourself To This Month

It's not often I mention monthly beauty boxes, if I'm totally honest I don't think they are often worth it, but sometimes an exception is required... especially when a beauty box is this good! So I thought why not dedicate an entire post to this amazing beauty box that I've been swooning over for the past week and have thoroughly enjoyed using!

If you scroll down then you will see the amazing beauty box I'm talking about is the September 2016 edition of GlossyBox! Personally I find Glossybox as a whole to be one of the more varied of all the monthly beauty boxes, as they generally contain beauty products (they you've heard of!), skincare, bodycare and either something haircare or nail related and more full sized products than the rest. They are just a good all-rounder that constantly team up big brands.

Glossybox-september-2016-review

This month's box is an exclusive with Red magazine, hence the vibrant red box, and I'm certainly not complaining as this is one of the best boxes I've received since they launched back in 2011! I mean just look, it contains Too Faced!

In the September Glossybox you receive

Hydro Face Mask, Rodial Smokey Eye Pen, Philosophy Amazing Grace Firming Body Emulsion or L'Occitane Cleansing Foam, Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara (original or waterproof), Revlon Envy Diamond Top Coat, plus an extra item, a sample of the new Himalayan Charcoal Glow Mask from The Body Shop. All worth so much more than the £10 cost!

Glossybox Price & Payment options

If you love the look of this box and want it for yourself, then I'd recommend snapping it up ASAP (it's nearly the end of the month!) and either pay the one-off payment of £10.00 + £3.25 p&p here* for the single box or sign up for the 3-month plan , £28.50 + £3.25 p&p here, to see if they keep up this high standard!

*I've linked directly to the checkout page for the one-off payment as their different plans don't make it clear

Favourite products

Am I allowed to say all of them?!
Seriously I will be using all of these products plus even taking a few away on holiday with me next month. Anyway here are my top favourites I'm most excited about and so pleased to see in this months box!

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
I received the original formula of this cult favourite and I couldn't be more excited to try it! I personally don't get on with hard mascara brushes, so I never got on with Benefit They're Real, so I was so glad to see Too Faced come out with a soft bristled brush that still offers some serious volume.. I also love the packaging! From seeing before/after style review posts I know this offers impresive volume and even extends lashes! Eager to see how this tranforms my eyelashes now! This is a perfect size to try it out and should last 1-2 months.

Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat
Okay, so just today I used this and can I just say - Seche Vite dupe alert! Yes, this is just as glossy as Sech Vite and pretty damn lovely. I'm been getting into gel nails recently but when I want to go for a normal manicure I now want a top coat that will look just as glossy as gel nails and this is correct in calling itself  'Gel Envy' as although the ultra smooth feel isn't there, the shine definitely is. This normally costs £7.99 full price so it's pretty good to be included in a £10 box!

Philosophy Amazing Grace Firming Body Emulsion
Philosophy's Amazing Grace scent is one of my favourite fragrances I own, which basically means I love anything with the scent! So I was beyond happy to see this mini firming body emulsion in this months box. If you have never smelt Amazing Grace before then you've been missing out as this is one seriously fresh and clean scent. Think freshly laundered cotton sheets mixed with a talcum powdered babies bum and you're close to how lovely the amazing grace scent is. I already own a large pot of the whipped body cream but I delighted to have this mini as I'm going on holiday soon and it's the ideal size to take away with me and use after showering.

The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask
Glossybox were kind enough to include an extra sample in every box this month and offer something you can't normally get as a sample - whoop, well done Glossy! This is a sample of one of the 5 new face masks at The Body Shop which cost £15 each, not overly cheap so a sample is perfect for trying it out first. It's a fairly good size sachet so with only apply detox clay masks to my T-zone I will be able to get 2-3 uses out of it. Little tip - most face mask sachets can be spread over a few uses so to save the mask from drying out use washi tape to seal the top! I think I will be saving this to try-out on holiday... if I don't give in and just use it!

Overall I'm just wow-ed by this box! So many high end products and a varied selection that I think most people will enjoy.

What do you think about this months Glossybox?

Fee xo.
