NOTD - Essie Navigate Her & Rimmel Disco Ball

Essie Navigate Her

A pretty and easy manicure today! Also I filed down my nails so no more scary nails... I have a dislike of really long nails you see and some how my nails got to quite a long length without me noticing.

Today's nails feature a bargain £2.99 Essie nail polish from Xtras Online which I am love with! I would describe Navigate Her as a pistachio green (it's all a slight bit darker in real life) that is smooth and glossy... and quite unique. Also the brush is the newer Essie brush so application is much better and also the polish only needed two coats.

Xtras did have quite a lot of Essie polishes in stock but now they are down to three different shades as they are selling like hot cakes - no wonder at only £2.99!

I then decided to add a glitter top coat with Rimmel I Love Lasting Finish in Disco Ball (£2.99 - Boots) as I am currently going through a glitter phase. This is a glitter I tend to forget about but actually this is the most even and delicate but interesting glitter nail polish I own. I also think it works really well with Essie Navigate Her.

For once I didn't add a clear top coat as I find the Rimmel glitter quite glossy but something I like to do is to add a top coat after a day or so to bring the nails back to being glossy and prevent any chips.

You can find all the available Essie shades from Xtras - here.

What nail polish are you currently wearing on your nails?

Fee xo.
