NOTD - Natural Collection Hibiscus

Natural Collection1

Natural Collection have always seem a budget brand that I've purchased from, for as long as I can remember actually! I think my first buy from them with my pocket money was their Strawberry Body Cream which I'd actually purchase now 10 years on, which is saying something!

My favourite products now from the brand are their lipstick, lipglosses and nail polish which are amazingly price at around £2.00 each and they always seem to have the 3 for £5 offer on.

So as I do have a lot of love for the brand I thought I'd show you a nail polish I purchased last week and instantly loved.

The shade is called Hibiscus and it is a lovely shiny deep fuchsia shade which sadly my camera couldn't pick up properly! So imagine the above swatches a few shades darker almost like a raspberry shade. It is also amazingly priced at only £1.89 for 8ml of nail polish.

As for application I really cannot fault it, there are no signs of it being a cheaper nail polish and is easily opaque in two coats with no bubbling or gloopiness! Though as it is a cheaper polish I always make sure to finish it off with a top coat as there is always some tip wear after a day or so of wearing it. But the images are without a top coats - it really is that shiny.

Also as you may have already noticed the Natural Collection nail polishes bottles have under gone a makeover recently...

The new bottles are slowly coming into all Boots stores so some are still the rounded older design and other stands will have a mixture of both.

But I definitely think it makes the nail polishes look a little less cheap and more 'now'. The volume is still the same at 8ml however the brush is a little shorter with the newer bottles but really nothing to write home about.

Also on comparison they are actually identical to the smaller 17 nail polishes except the 17 bottle have a black top.

Next Natural Collection nail polish on my list is Antique Coral and any others you can recommend me!
