For Her: Pampering Christmas Gift Guide

If there's ever a time for pampering it's during winter. So this is why I often find myself giving pampering gifts from skincare to bath products and home fragrance at Christmas.

Below I have something for all budgets, from inexpensive body care gift sets to luxury skincare and both high and low-end home fragrance gifts. Even if you are done with your Christmas shopping this year (I applaud you) you may find this gift guide can point you in the right direction for some after Christmas sale shopping!

Budget Pampering Gifts

If you are on a budget or simply have a set amount you spend per person at Christmas then a body care gift set is a great option, simply as there is so much choice and who doesn't like trying out a range of new bath and body products, especially over the festive period.

Below I've found some perfect on-budget gifts that anyone would love. My main advice here would be to pick something for your gift recipient that you know they would like but wouldn't necessarily treat themselves to - so you may want to skip the Nivea and Dove type sets.

Soap & Glory
If there is a brand that goes all out with their Christmas gifting it's Soap & Glory - their gift sets are endless and generally on 3 for 2! My own gift of choice is Soap & Glory's Pink Credibles Gift Set which is very reasonably priced at £10, containing 4 mini products and a sheet mask. This gift set is ideal for pampering sessions as it contains Clean On Me shower gel, Scrub Of Your Life body scrub, The Righteous Butter, Hand Food hand cream and one of their new Radiance-Boosting sheet masks. So all products that could be used in one evening! What I really like about this set if that all the products are S&G's iconic scent (they all smell like The Righteous Butter) so it feels quite traditional in a way... I also like for £10 it comes in a tin and with tissue paper. A really nice budget gift for a teen or friend!

Sanctuary Spa
Another brand without a doubt known for their body care products is Sanctuary Spa and again know how to do Christmas gifting well! This year their gift sets are better than ever with lots of discounted sets and Boots 3 for 2 offer. They also have gift sets in their new scent launch - White Lily & Damask Rose, which let me tell you smells beyond amazing, in fact after smelling the products in this gift set I went out and bought myself the Wet Skin Moisture Miracle as I needed the scent in my shower! Whether this gift set interests you or not, I urge you to have a cheeky sniff of any of the Sanctuary White Lily & Damask Rose products - it's floral but somehow sweet and moreish... the type of scent you keep on wanting to sniff!

Scent rambling aside, the gift set that caught my eye the most was Sanctuary Spa Rosy Delights. Priced at £18.00 (currently reduced to £13.50). First for the amazing large glass jar, which would make the most perfect biscuit barrel or bathroom storage jar, and secondly for the array of products inside. Inside the jar you will find a full-size Wet Skin Moisture Miracle (worth £8, alone), along with four good size minis; luxury bath float, body wash, body scrub and body lotion. This truly would make a fabulous gift, dare I say it, but for the rose gold glass jar alone. Although the products are pretty lovely as well!

Bilou
Last but not least for my budget gift ideas I wanted to include a brand I discovered this summer and while they don't have any Christmas gift sets out this year I think a trio of products would make a lovely gift. The brand I'm talking about is Bilou a body care brand that has got the balance of fun scents with stylish packaging just right!

Scents include Tasty Donut, Fizzy Berry, Cotton Candy, Pink Melon and Coco Cocktail in range of creamy shower foams, foam body lotions and body sprays for only £3.99 at Superdrug. I personally think pairing Bilou Tasty Donut Creamy Shower Foam with Cotton Candy Gentle Cream Foam would make a cute budget gift to a friend or teen, as they both smell incredible and aren't your typical body & shower products.

Premium Skincare Gifts

If you are looking to really treat someone this year that loves both beauty and their skin, then a more luxurious skincare gift set could be the way to go. There are lots of options available however I feel picking a brand they know is the safest option or going with a brand you love yourself so that you can tell them about the products and the brand on gifting them their gift. It's also wise to know their skin type either figuring it out by having a nosey in their bathroom cabinet or simply asking them in conversation. Below I have three amazing skincare giftset from some very well-known and loved brands that all come with a good saving.

Sunday Riley
If you or your gift recipient love Sunday Riley then you're most likely aware of their prices which are worth it when picking up a certain product for yourself however as a gift may not seem a lot even when the price tag is. So it may surprise you to know that Sunday Riley actually has an amazing £35 gift set available this year!

Besides from the price Sunday Riley's Face to Face Kit is impressive for a number of reasons. 1. It has a value of £55 2. It contains the new reformulated Ceramic Slip Cleanser and Glycolic Acid Treatment 3. Perfect as a travel set or a way to try out a number of products from the brand 4. The set comes in a lovely modern art style box that could be re-used for trinkets or small skincare items. Basically, if I didn't own this set it would be on my Christmas list or I'd be treating myself to it come to Boxing Day. If you know any fans of Sunday Riley then this is THE perfect gift without breaking the bank.

Emma Hardie
Another surprisingly affordable gift set comes from Emma Hardie, a brand I feel a few of you may already love. Now if you have tried the iconic Moringa Cleansing Balm then this Emma Hardie Cleansing Kit may me something that you want to gift to someone else so they can too experience it... or you know, you could just treat yourself to it. Unlike the full-size Moringa Cleansing Balm this set isn't £47 but in fact only £30 for a 50ml pot, along with the ultra-soft cleansing cloth and amazing Rosehip exfoliating seeds which basically turn this cult cleanser into an exfoliating treatment!

Introducing someone to the cleansing powers of this beautifully scented balm to oil cleanser I truly believe is a gift itself (dramatic I know, but this is an amazing product and my own favourite EVER cleanser) but even more so with the addition of the fine exfoliating seeds which give an almost micro dermabrasion-like effect.

Gatineau
For my last luxury skincare gift, I wanted to include something suitable for someone slightly more mature and someone that was anti-ageing without overly stating it. My favourite gift set here is the Gatineau DefiLIFT 3D Firming Christmas Collection which is priced at £77 but with a value of £174, giving an amazing 54% saving.

What I love about this set is that it includes only full-size products, with a firming moisturiser, eye cream and plumping lip treatment. These all feel high-end products, well because they are, with the two skincare items in glass bottles and feeling weighty. The trio of products comes with a large makeup bag in a lovely brushed leather-style finish that's soft and luxurious. Truly a gift to treat a skincare lover to if you want to spend a little more.

Home Fragrance Gifts

My final category is home fragrance as it's a gift you can give to most people whether you know them well or not. It's also something that suits all budgets whether you are buying for a secret santa or you really want to indulge someone. Below I have a good mix of home fragrance gifts that I think a lot of people would love to receive.

Heyland & Whittle
As you may be able to tell I'm all about well presented and thought out gifts so when I came across this beautifully packaged Heyland & Whittle set containing mini candle, reed diffuser and soap all in a stunning winter scent I knew I had to include it in a gift guide this year.

Not only is this a lovely mix of products to try out for £25 but the Winter Spice scent really is perfect, think orange, nutmeg, clove and cinnamon. Nothing too heavy or strong and a scent that feels festive yet can be enjoyed all winter.

Allumi
Next, I wanted to share a truly perfect gift idea for a home fragrance lover or someone that is into their homeware/interior design. While this stunning Buddha head looks more like an ornament it is, in fact, a luxury white ceramic buddha wax burner with the top of the head being the lid/dish for wax melts or even essential oils. The ceramic buddha comes with 10 lovely soy wax melts for £37 (in a choice of 3 fragrances) making a complete gift.

I know a few people this would make a wonderful gift for that already love burning candles or using melts, as it can be displayed on a shelf or coffee table without looking like a traditional wax burner. There's also the option of free gift wrapping which I'd definitely take advantage of!

Clive Christian
Lastly, if you are looking for a truly luxurious gift for a fragrance lover then gifting a candle gift set from a fragrance house would make one special present. Beautifully presented on all fronts I have the stunning Candle Trio Votives Set from luxury brand, Clive Christian which can be purchased exclusively at Harrods, both in-store and online.

This extremely special candle gift set is available in three different scents; No.1 (herbal citrus, spicy floral), 1872 (green citrus, sweet floral) and X (floral, fruity, amber woody), all of which I've had the pleasure of experiencing and can say my favourite scent is No.1 as it's so richly blended and beautifully floral - a scent that a lot of people would adore. From the sleek gift box to how stunning each candle is and the fact they have a 22 hour burn time per candle, this truly is one luxury home fragrance gift set.

I would love to know your favourite gift ideas here and if anything has caught your eye!

Let me know in the comments,
