What's on my September Beauty Shopping List

So we're about to enter September and I don't know how I feel about it. On one hand I'm more than ready to embrace Autumn but still, my head just can't get around how we got here. I mean, wasn't it January just a few weeks ago? It sure feels that way.

Time confusion aside, I wanted to share with you what I plan to buy in the month of September. There's something enjoyable about sharing what I plan to pick up, it's kind of a look at a few exciting 'new in' products and gives you an idea of what's getting me excited right now. You can also find a few of my non-beauty planned buys in the way of homeware and style at the bottom of this post!

New Bilou Range £3.99
On initially seeing this new brand/range advertised I may have got over excited. You see I confused the cursive font to say Fi-Lou and not Bi-Lou (pronounced bee-lou) which I was thinking "that's my name! How cool!" But alas it's not a cute nickname that matches my own (although no one calls me filou, my name is Fee and my middle name is Louise... okay, I just made it fit!) but the name of Bibi of BibisBeautyPalace; a super popular German beauty Youtuber! Rambling aside, this new range of body products looks fun and unique with scents such a Tasty Donut and Cotton Candy. I'm definitely most drawn to the range of inexpensive shower foams and though I haven't smelt them I know I will have to pick up the Tasty Donut Shower Foam or the Coco Cocktail Shower Foam as I love anything gourmand and haven't used a foaming product in the shower in what seems like forever. Once I pick it up I will be sure to give it a review!

Rimmel Wonderwing Liner £5.99
It's not often a new eyeliner grabs my attention these days. This is mainly because I've very happy to use Kat Von D Tattoo Liner all day every day and because with sometimes watery eyes a drugstore liquid liner is pointless - they just don't cut it for me! However, the idea of a stamp on eyeliner wing really appeals. This has been done before of course with the lesser know Sanfilippo 'Wing It' liner which did the rounds on YouTube but with a mainstream brand now picking it up I feel confident enough to give it a go. My only concern would be with misjudging the placement of the stamp and creating a wing that makes the eyes look sad rather than lifted, plus it's not just a slip of the hand that would need to be corrected if you apply it incorrectly but a full on smudge of black liner. However, I'm still eager to give this a go because if it works then it could certainly be a game changer for creating perfectly equal winged eyes in seconds.

Lush Jelly Face Mask £6.95 each
Although I'm still not friends with Lush for discontinuing The Comforter Shower Cream, I'm glad to see they are trying to make up for it with new and innovative products. One of these is the addition of Jelly Face Masks which are thankfully self-preserving, meaning they keep longer than a week, and come in 5 different scents/types - Bunny Moon, 1000 Millihelens, Just To Clarify, Birth of Venus and Fomo. The bouncy yet paste texture certainly has me interested and I will be picking up either Just to Clarify or Fomo on my next trip to Lush. If you've already tried out a Lush Jelly Face Mask let me know what you thought of it in the comments!

Makeup Revolution Liquid Highlighter £6.00
Makeup Revolution has gone and done it again, creating a dupe that has everyone excited but wondering if it's just plain old copying! Because MR's new Liquid Highlighter range certainly looks very similar to the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops without the £34.00 price tag that is! As I like to keep things light hearted when it comes to makeup I won't be dwelling on this fact but simply being grateful that more liquid highlighters are coming available to the high street. As I'm having a moment with liquid products right now I cannot wait to try one of these, I'm thinking out of the 7 shades available I will be going for 'Unicorn Exlir' as it's the more unique shades and sounds pretty dreamy if you ask me. See the full range here.

Primark Primer Water £2.00 in-store
Another possible dupe product here that I'm eager to try out. Looking similar to the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water but with a difference of £18.00, this looks quite an interesting skin care meets makeup hybrid. Whether this primes or sets my makeup or not I think this will be a handy non-alcohol spray to wet my beauty blender with or use on brushes to intensify eyeshadows. I feel a pre-autumn Primark trip is certainly needed to pick this up along with a few more beauty items.

Kiko Fall 2.0 Baked Bronzer £22.90
Kiko is without a doubt one of my favourite makeup brands and although I'm slightly obsessed with the recent release of their Fall 2.0 collection I plan to pick up more of an essential repurchase product that fortunately happens to be in the latest launch and oh so beautifully packaged. Kiko's Baked Bronzer has been a staple for me for the last 3 years but my own compact has come to an end so it's time to pick up another hefty 20g compact that will no doubt last me another 3 years! This baked bronzer works perfectly not only on the face but the collarbone and decolletage area and can be applied with a larger fluffy brush thanks to the pretty sizable compact. This may seem a little steep for Kiko but trust me, this is a bronzer that keeps on giving!

As for non-beauty, these gorgeous yet inexpensive studded buckle boots are on my shopping list as we are approaching cold feet season, along with this lovely floral print jumper, can you tell I like black? Homeware wise, I'm after a few large house plants that I hopefully won't kill and I've also been eyeing up this trendy woven wall hanging that I could never DIY and seems pretty good value for money for £10.00.

Let me know what you are wanting to buy right now!

Fee xo.
