NYC have recently come out with quite a few new amazing glittery top coats. So today I thought I would share with you one of the less festive looking glitters that is basically galaxy nails in a bottle when paired with black nail polish!
Disco Inferno and all the other glitter top coats (I think there are 7 shades available now!) are all priced at £1.99 and are often on 3 for 2 at Superdrug making them pretty damn cheap.
For these super glittery nails I chose to use Avon Rapid Black as like the name states it dries in no time at all and is opaque in 1-2 coats. I just applied a single thick coat as I was in a rush.
I then applied a single coat of NYC Disco Inferno, again a pretty thick coat. But I made sure to apply a coat of Seche Vite to make sure my nails fully set/dried. I hate when my nails appear to be dry on the surface but are still wet underneath and then seem to smudge on something! Seche Vite definitely solves that problem.
As you can see the effect of the top coat is like a pretty intergalactic with different size flecks of glitter in silver, blue and holographic - so interesting to look at!
So many brands have been bring out different textured glitter nails recently but I have to say I still love a standard glossy glitter that turns the nails into something amazing in a single coat.
More amazing NYC glitter top coats to come... and China Glaze... and Ted Baker... and Illamasqua. Oh dear too many nail polishes, not enough fingers!
