NOTD - Wet Look Leopard Print Nails

Really not sure if these are fail nails today as this must be the quickest and laziest leopard print nails I have ever done! Though I do like how the print catches the light and also breaks up the black.

So after the red glittery-ness that was yesterdays nails (here) I thought for day five of my 30 days of nails challenge I would go for something totally different and new. I have never really tried the whole matte but gloss nails before so I thought I would give it a go. I also wanted to try out the Orly mini I receive with the firrst ever She Said Beauty box!

I firstly applied 2 coats of Orly Black Out and then applied a single coat of the Models Own Pro Matte Top Coat. Then using a thin brush from the Blush Professional brush set I draw on the leopard print shapes quite roughly. I could of been neater and made the print more detailed and smaller but I didn't have much time.. hence why it doesn't look all that amazing.

A small tip if you do want to try it out with a eyeliner/lip brush/nail art brush is to dab a bit of the nail polish out onto a piece of card or some foil so that you can use it as use wish. As placing the brush into the nail polish can be messy and you can also get far too much nail polish on your brush that way.

Think I may have to give this another go when I have more time so I can make the leopard print smaller which I think would look a lot nicer!

But overall not too bad for a quick bit of nail art.
